High-quality workmanship
Justpainted has done a lot of earthquake repair and rebuild work during the past four years and was voted a top 10 EQC-EQR repairer for the Ferrymead hub in 2014-15.
“We’ve just finished up with EQC and now we’re doing all the remedial work, plus over-capped insurance work and private work,” says Justin.
He has two teams working for him; one doing rebuilds and the other doing new homes and commercial work.
Justin is also currently in discussions with several large residential building companies and hopes to secure some work with them.
Justpainted is committed to high-quality workmanship on every job it completes, an attitude which is reflected in its team of skilled staff. A family business, Justin’s partner Manea Uriarau also supports the office administration, sourcing of new opportunities and management of the professional cleaning.
Wide range of services
Justpainted was established 15 years ago. Director Justin Baker, the company works on investment properties, new and existing homes, and commercial work to offer a value-added service to customers.
Justin has extensive experience within Christchurch’s building industry. He’s been working in the Building industry for more than 20 years and has a huge depth of knowledge to offer customers.
“We try to be a one-stop shop so I organise all the other trades,” Justin says.
“People can come to us and we will organise everything. We don’t just look at what needs to be painted; we look at other things that make up the complete picture. We do free colour consulting and we help out with carpets and offer a good vision of what your house is going to look like.
“We meet up with the home owner and they tell us what they want to do. I’ll come up with solutions to help them achieve that without spending a lot of money. We’ll work with the existing colours in the house, such as carpet, kitchen or drapes.”
At the end of each job, Justin goes through the house with the owner to check for anything that needs fixing, including marks or damage done by other trades.
